Helping Kids and Teens Navigate Emotional and Mental Health

When a child is struggling with anxiety, depression, or their emotional well-being, it can be hard to fully understand what they’re experiencing beneath the surface. What may appear as mood swings, withdrawal, irritability, or constant worry can reflect deeper feelings they don’t yet know how to express. Adults in their lives often find themselves wondering: What’s really going on? How do I respond in a way that actually helps? When is it time to seek additional support?

This pathway is designed to equip you as you walk alongside a child facing emotional and mental health challenges. You’ll hear from caregivers, professionals, and individuals who share their own stories of navigating anxiety and depression at a young age as well as from parents and caregivers helping kids through it. Through their perspectives, you’ll gain insight into recognizing patterns, responding with care, and creating environments where kids feel seen, safe, and understood. There may not be a simple or immediate solution, but meaningful change can happen through steady presence, trust, and connection. You don’t have to do this perfectly to make a lasting impact—you just have to keep showing up.
