Military Culture, Infertility, Isolation and Identity, Ministry, Widowhood, Leading Children through Loss
Kristin’s journey has been shaped by both deep love and profound loss. After building a life of ministry alongside her husband in the Army Chaplaincy, she walked through the challenges of military life—including deployments, trauma, and the strain of constant transitions. Years later, her husband was diagnosed with a service-connected terminal illness and passed away at age 42, leaving her to navigate grief while parenting their children.
Through her ongoing healing, Kristin has come to understand the unique weight carried by military and first responder families. With a background in education and training in mental health and trauma care, she brings both empathy and insight to her work. Today, she is passionate about supporting others through hardship, helping them find strength, hope, and a deeper sense of purpose in the midst of their story.
