Bob Bankhead

Bob has forty years of church ministry experience and has walked with many people through various losses and tragedies. In October of 2021, he faced the greatest tragedy
of his life when Shari, his wife of over thirty-seven years, died due to complications from COVID-19. As a pastor, he thought he understood loss and grief, but he realized that training and experience had not prepared him for the pain he would endure. Through his own grief journey and healing, he discovered a new purpose and calling to help others
navigate healing and recovery as they move forward with purpose and hope.

In 2024, Bob transitioned from pastoral ministry and started A Grace Encounter (www.agraceencounter.com) to help others experience restoration and healing. He has pursued healing for himself and sought training and education to assist others on their journey to healing and wholeness.

In 2024, Bob married DeeDee, who shares his passion and commitment to walking alongside those who have faced tragedy.
