Caregiving, Widow, Loss of Parent, Loss of Sibling, Childhood Trauma, Medical Trauma, PTSD, Crisis of Faith
Renee's journey through profound grief and loss began with the loss of her brother at age 18, then the deaths of her parents, and her husband's passing at the age of 59. She dedicated 7 years as a caregiver for her husband, father and mother. Along the way, Renee endured childhood trauma and medical trauma, and the weight of compounded loss ultimately led to a diagnosis of PTSD and a deep crisis of faith.
Today, firmly anchored in her faith in Jesus and grateful for His healing and restoration in her own life, Renee is called to walk alongside others in their healing journeys. With years of experience as a Trauma Recovery Coach and Health Coach, she supports men and women of all ages who are navigating grief, church hurt, and the unique pressures faced by ministry leaders. She has a heart for those experiencing stress- and trauma-related health challenges, and her coaching emphasizes nervous system healing, breaking the cycle of co-dependency, and dismantling the power of shame.
Renee also provides compassionate grief coaching shaped by her own lived experience. She leads a GriefShare group and spearheads the prayer ministry at her church, honoring the memory of her loved ones while using both her personal journey and professional training to guide others toward healing, hope, and wholeness.
